Izzy Fowler
Howdy! My name is Izzy Fowler and I'm so excited for this year in Argyle ISD! I grew up in Grand Prairie, Texas where I was a Gopher, graduated from Texas A & M University (Fightin Texas Aggie Class of '99) and graduated with my Master's degree from The University of Texas at Arlington in 2017.
Before coming to Argyle, I taught at Nimitz High School in Irving, Texas for 12 years, Grapevine High School in Grapevine, Tx for 6 years. Once in Argyle, I taught Chemistry & Physics for 2 years at Argyle High School before moving into the Assistant Principal role.
I am married to Coach Aaron Fowler who is the head athletic trainer at AHS. He works hard to keep our athletes healthy and you will probably see him on the sidelines at games. We have a precious daughter named Joey Ann who attends Argyle Middle School. We love calling Argyle 'HOME' and feel blessed to spend our days with the best students in the state of Texas. I'm so proud to be an Argyle Eagle and I'm looking forward to an amazing year!
Jonathan Delay
Hello Eagles! Im very excited, blessed, and humbled to be starting another year at Argyle High School. I came on board in 2018 as an assistant principal. Prior to this, I served the students and community of Flower Mound for 10 years at both the middle school and high school levels.
Im proud to work alongside some of the finest servant-leaders and shepherds around - from the maintenance and cafeteria crew, all the way to the superintendents office. Know that every day our team wakes up to a calling, not an alarm clock. Were committed to doing it better than we did the day before, and growing ALL learners and athletes from all backgrounds and places.
My wife and three children are more than I deserve, and are a true blessing upon me - and so is your kid! When you send your kids to us they become our mission to help and prepare them for life during and after high school. Know that our students only care about what we teach and do, because they know first and foremost that we care. Welcome to Argyle. Welcome to Home.
Nicole Leech
My name is Nicole Leech and I am so excited to be a part of the Argyle High School Admin team. Raised in Kentucky, I am a University of Kentucky, Troy University, and Lamar University graduate.
My husband retired after 26 years in the Army. We have moved many times and are now proud to call Texas home. We have two adult children. Our daughter, Brooke, recently graduated from Clemson University and is now a professional sales person in the DFW area, and our son, Jackson, is attending Clemson University in South Carolina.
I have taught general education and special education for over 20 years. I have taught Pre-K through high school, teaching a variety of grade levels and abilities, as we have moved to each new place. Most recently I was the Behavior Intervention Specialist for Argyle High School. In my free time I enjoy playing golf, running with our two retrievers, and spending time with my husband and family.
Laura Nelson
Hello! Im Laura Nelson and Im so excited to be at Argyle High School this year! I grew up in Hurst, Texas where I played basketball at LD Bell High School before going onto the University of North Texas and participating . In December of 2021 I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Master of Educational Policy and Leadership Studies.
Before coming to Argyle, I taught 18 years in Lewisville ISD within the Flower Mound High School feeder pattern where I coached middle school volleyball and PE, and taught 8th grade math and Honors Algebra I.
I met my husband at McKamy Middle School in Flower Mound when I was the volleyball coach and he was coaching the girls basketball team. He still coaches there and is lucky to be coaching our middle school daughter this year! As a family we love to watch the Dallas Stars, try new restaurants, and take our pups to the dog park. I enjoy reading, playing volleyball, doing calligraphy, and serving in our church.
Im excited to be part of the Argyle family and look forward to serving the students, staff, and families this school year!
