SAT and ACT
We encourage students to take both tests to get a baseline score. At that point, if you have a test preference, concentrate on preparing to take that particular test again and retake it to possibly improve your score. If you choose to retake your exams, it helps to take them at the end of junior year or summer of senior year to ensure scores are processed and reach your prospective schools before the application deadlines. You will need to send your scores to your prospective schools directly from the testing agency.

Texas Success Initiative (TSIA2) – The TSIA2 Assessment is designed to determine student readiness for college-level coursework in reading, writing, and mathematics. All incoming college students attending higher education in Texas are required to take the TSI Assessment unless exempt via an alternate approved method such as PSAT, SAT, or ACT scores.
